Our rooms

The Post House aims to cater for the needs of all visitors to our home in Chewton Mendip.

There are two bedrooms specifically for Bed and Breakfast. One of these can be made up with twin beds. In addition to this, the separate Old Bakery can either be for B&B or entirely self catering with its own sitting room and fully equipped kitchen.

Unfortunately the format of the B&B is not wheelchair friendly.

Policies & disclaimers

Deposits

We normally require a deposit equivalent to the first night's stay at the time of booking. Deposits are non refundable. The balance is due on your arrival date.

Cancellation

If cancelled within a month of your arrival date, a full charge will be made for the accommodation.

Payment Methods

We accept payment by cash, cheque or credit card.

Arrival and Departure Times

We prefer our B and B guests to arrive between 4.30pm and 10pm. Other arrival times can be arranged by negotiation, so please contact us if you have special requirements. We required guests to check out by 10.30am on their departure date.

Children and Pets

We welcome children provided they are accompanied by at least one adult. However, we are not able to accept pets.

Smoking

Please note that The Post House is non-smoking throughout.
